The Biscuit & Mushroom Gravy and Hash Browns with Roasted Garlic Sauce were amazing! We sat outside, it was nice and sunny. We also had the seasonal latte, which was incredible, tasted like key lime pie with a hint of lavender. Great spot for a cozy brunch in the city. Totally recommend!

A fantastic dinner the other evening. The broccoli was incredible and the cod was beyond words. Drinks were very yummy. With the apple crisp style dessert to end it. Felt like a cozy fall evening

This is my favorite brunch and dinner place; perfect for lunch and dinner dates or just a nice casual meal with coffee on the side. A hidden gem in cap hill. I highly recommend the Lemon Lavender Latte; one of the best coffees in Seattle. Food wise, I recommend the albacore salad, salmon tartine, summer harvest, clams, mushroom pate and cod. Every dish was delicious and nicely presented. Further, I believe the price is very reasonable for the quality of food we got. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is not too terrible considering this is in the capital hill neighborhood.

Love this place for breakfast. They have delicious, exciting vegan options. The coffee is always great. It is a relatively small place, so be prepared to wait for a table to open up on busy days. Pretty casual dining, yet great vibes and atmosphere. Vegan blueberry pancakes did not disappoint.

Def don't sleep on this place. It's a little out of the way for Cap Hill but worth the walk. And super well priced for quality of ingredients. Food: Let me repeat. THEY DID NOT SLEEP ON QUALITY. We got the biscuit cherries and cream and it the cream was incredible. Biscuit was not dry and also flavorful. The lox tartine had a good amount if salmon and they added more than just generic cream cheese. Whatever green dollop was on top- so freaking good. The pancakes were fluffy and light with a lot of blueberries. Lastly, the shishito peppers had a bomb dipping sauce. Like, would buy and take home. Atmosphere: its tucked away in thr neighborhood. It has a bright interior with a lot of greenery inside and out. Overall great experience :]

Finch and Pine truly is, as they say, a quaint neighborhood restaurant and cafe. It was a real treat to dine there on our last day visiting Seattle and experience the delectable cuisine prepared by Chef Sara. While waiting for our meal, I enjoyed a Latte with Oat milk and infused with the house-made Lavender syrup and we shared a delicious mochi muffin. The muffin was so good, I wanted to take one home for breakfast the next day, but all were sold out. Instead, I took home an equally delicious cinnamon roll. We also shared the delicata squash dish. It was great! My main course was the Fall Harvest Tartin. It was amazing! In addition to sharing the muffin and the squash, my husband’s main dish was the sourdough French toast. He enjoyed them all immensely! I would definitely recommend Finch and Pine as a great place to enjoy great food, a cozy atmosphere, and good service!

Finch & Pine is a wonderful small business must try located in Capitol Hill, where you can find the best of quality seasonal ingredients meeting a passionate and creative approach to PNW cuisine! *plus dairy free* Their newly introduced dinner service offers an amazing opportunity to see what Sara (their Head Chef and Owner) has cooking in their head, and what they feel would make an evening meal both stimulating and satisfying tor the palate. The textures and varying brightness of each type of vegetable used for the House Made Pickles was very engaging, the paler root type one pictured up front was my favorite! Just enough bite with the right amount of tang! (Would definitely recommend splitting it with someone or be okay with eating a LOT in one sitting cause they did not skimp out!) The Poached Blue Prawns was not a hot item dish like I had originally thought, but was instead a refreshing chilled item that still provided a fulfilling shellfish experience, while also allowing sharper notes from the verde and pickled shallots to shine in complimentary fashion. The Seared Albacore Tostada was by far my favorite overall! Great texture on the flavorful sear of a still moist fish, and a crispy rice shell take on its tostada to help support the salsa and slaw really bring it all together. It was recommended to use a utensils and break apart the shell into smaller pieces for an even distribution of the ingredients. Was not disappointed in the advice, as it gave me the opportunity to really enjoy different elements of the dish before deciding to eat them all together! Would highly encouraging stopping by, and is worth having to circle around a bit for parking if you don’t communicate by foot or bike

Dinner service review update 08/17/2024: Sara’s new dinner service reminds me of going to cafe/bars in Italy where you could spend hours chatting with friends and neighbors while sipping on a drink, enjoying a few snacks, or ordering dinner from a full menu. We ordered house made pickles, blue prawn aguachile, fried eggplant tostada and the fried dough. The pickles were perfect- crisp, bright and refreshing. The blue prawn aquachile was nice and acidic without overpowering the other flavors in the dish. My only complaint about the eggplant tostada is that I could eat so many more of them- it was so tasty and so hard to stop eating considering it wasn’t my dish, but my partner’s. The fried dough was so good that despite being very full by that point (and the prospect of walking home in a thunder storm looming over our heads), I almost placed a second order. I highly recommend requesting a side of dairy free whipped cream (Sara sources an amazing dairy free heavy cream) if it hasn’t been added to the menu yet. I included a picture of me post-storm as evidence of how willing we were to endure the downpour for this food. We also ordered the coffee spritz (get this one!!), the rhubarb margarita, and the nectar of the gods. If my tolerance to alcohol was higher, I would have ordered more. Bartender Lucy always hits it out of the park! The dinner service is Friday and Saturday and I highly recommend checking it out, especially while the patio is still open in the evenings during the summer! I look forward to going more often before the summer ends. ——— I have been several times before, but I decided to purchase a ticket to the February supper club and it was incredible! Chef Sara’s knowledge and expert use of local seasonal produce truly shines in all her menus, whether that is her evolving brunch menu or her seasonal supper club events. I highly recommend the tartine, a cocktail from the bartender/barista Lucy, and the gluten free French toast!
